Our geologists have significant core logging experience with a wide variety of deposit types. We collect the geotechnical data our clients need, ranging from a simple recovery/RQD log, to a detailed geotechnical log capable of estimating RMR, GSI and Q rock mass ratings.
Experienced Loggers and Geotechs
Tamarack’s geologists have over 50 years of combined core logging experience, so our team has the expertise necessary to be turn key in the core shed. We’re familiar with many of the latest core logging and core photography technologies, and we’ve developed our own core logging software to get your project started.
Our Process
Tamarack can work with your team to build a core logging process from the ground up. We are also effective operating in established programs with proven core logging methods. We’re helpful in improving systems as needed, and we’re eager to contribute to the interpretation of results.
When starting a project from scratch, we begin by understanding the end goal. From there we tailor the logging to capture the data needed to achieve the projects objectives.
